SW101 Microsoft Office 2000/XP

These courses are designed to cover the operating basics of the ever-popular Microsoft Office suite of programs. The series covers Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word, with one day spent on each. This series is designed to provide an optimum level of training when all five units are taken sequentially, although as stand-alone sessions, they include all principal functions.

It should be noted that this suite is geared toward both basic and more advanced level users. In certain applications, advanced techniques may be reviewed upon application, as these are best geared directly towards the Company’s specific needs.

Course Objective

The objective of this course is to train the individuals to be able to use the programs as either stand-alone applications, or in association with other Office programs. The course also offers assistance with Company-specific situations, together with giving practical advise on ways to optimize the use of the programs within working scenarios.

Candidate Profile

This course is designed for all levels of staff who will be using any of the programs within the course of their work. This would include secretaries to sales executives, and sessions may be considered in association with other training, for example, PowerPoint with Presentation Skills.
